Education - Community - Social Change
ITM has inspired a unique educational vision in the heart of North America’s most multi-cultural city. We are committed to the integration of the world’s traditional medicines and wisdom traditions with conventional and modern healthcare approaches.
Diverse, Inclusive Environment
We endeavour to create a community that ensures inclusivity, is welcoming for everyone, and upholds the highest levels of respect for all beings and the environment.
Engaged Educational Format
We believe that learning must require participation, focus and enjoyment. Our trainings always include hands-on, practical opportunities to further engage and develop the 'whole person'.
Emphasis on Social Justice
Our programs emphasize our responsibility to serve - individuals and communities, and to use our voices and actions to advocate and empower for a more just world.
We envision societies in which Integrative Medicine is accessible and available to all.
Our professional educational programs span the medical arts and sciences, spirituality, eco-health, sustainability, end of life care, and social justice, and are open to all. We foster a community of learning that inspires the growth and expansion of not only the individual, but those of the community. We are dedicated to cultivating a community of learning that encourages the promotion of supportive, open and transparent communication amongst our students, faculty, administration and alumni. Since our inception, we have developed programs that inspire our community to apply their intellect, resources and learning for the betterment of the world.
Visionaries & Advisors
We are honoured to have the guidance, support and inspiration of a number of incredible human beings and visionaries - teachers, practitioners and change-makers who have spent their lives dedicated to the pursuit of inspiring change, peace, and health across communities and the world.
