Alexis is back this autumn sharing harvesting and preparation teachings to assist us with the change of seasons. In this day workshop, Alexis will cover:
– Fall Harvesting with a focus on Roots – What herbs/roots can be harvested in the fall and late fall, how to do so, what to watch for, Drying and Preparation, etc.
– Nature’s Winter Elixirs: Cough Syrup & Fire Cider – history, uses, various recipes and ways to make.
-Herbal Tea Blending/Elderberry Syrup
– Questions/Discussions on preparing for the Change of Season.
Alexis Burnett has been practicing wilderness skills, engaging in herbal studies and practices and pursuing naturalist/tracking studies for over 20 years, learning from people and organizations such as Tom Brown Jr., Jon Young, renowned herbalist Rosemary Gladstar and many others.
