By the end of this workshop, participants will have useful information and practical techniques to both prevent & treat common spring health conditions and to maintain health throughout the coming months.
Henry Claflin teaches Yang-style Tai Ji Quan. The tradition he follows combines exercise, self-defense, medicine and philosophy into a practice that nourishes the body, mind and spirit. Since 2009, Henry has studied under Paul McCaughey, master teacher and founder of the Rising Sun School of Tai Chi Chuan. Henry has taught for the Toronto District School Board, the Classical Theatre Project, the People With AIDS Foundation, and the Ontario HIV Treatment Network Conference. From 2014-2015, Henry lived in China and studied internal martial arts with seasoned teachers in Beijing and at the famous Wudang Mountain. Henry is a graduate of ITM's Eastern Medicine program and is trained as an acupuncturist and herbalist.
