6 week sessions. Followed by a drop-in monthly group.
You Are Not Alone.
These sessions will provide a safe and supportive environment, where the hurt and woundedness of loss can be engaged and its pain addressed. Buddhist based techniques of guided meditation and visualization, which have proved effective with the challenges of pain, illness and trauma, will be applied in a secular, non-sectarian, therapeutic manner.
Working together non-intrusively, we will approach the shock and disruption of our losses to death; we will cultivate self-compassion and care for each other with focused attention. We can expect that the experience will enable each of us to better face life's challenges with increased confidence, compassion and courage.
