Carol Sokalski

Carol’s passion for healing started early, growing up on an organic farm and learning about herbs from her Grandmother. After establishing a career as a Registered nurse working in acute care, she became intrigued with the ancient healing art of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She completed four years of study in Chinese Medicine at the Institute of Traditional Medicine while also focusing on integrating mindfulness-based practices by completing studies at the University of Toronto and the Nalanda Institute for Contemplative Science. Carol treats clients with a wide range of ailments including women’s health, stress and pain conditions, digestive disorders, and athletic injuries. She supports clients with mental health concerns and has a special interest in bereavement care completing a diploma in Contemplative End of Life Care. She practices in an integrative way allowing for the best of western medicine while incorporating the therapeutic modalities of Chinese Medicine and provides a holistic mind body approach where client’s unique needs are respected. She is committed to helping her clients move toward a state of balance and wellness. In her free time she enjoys yoga, camping trips and taking advantage of the diverse cultural events in Toronto.
