Abrah Arneson

Abrah Arneson has been practicing herbal medicine for over 11 years and is a graduate of Dominion Herbal College’s 4 year Clinical Herbal Therapist (CHT) program.

Abrah originally practice traditional western herbal medicine in Red Deer, Alberta. There she had a busy general practice where she supported people struggling with a wide variety of health challenges inlcuding chronic infection, mental health, hormonal imbalance, auto-immune disease and cancer. Abrah enjoys helping children, women and men.

During this time Abrah apprenticed with 10 Master Herbalists and authored The Herbal Apprentice: Plant Medicine and The Human Being.

Abrah’s understanding of holistic herbal medicine is complemented by a 25 year practice of meditation and in-depth study of traditional therapies for body and mind. Before opening her practice, Abrah worked in the medical system, specializing in hospice care. She trained as a doula and has supported a number of women throughout their pregnancies, birthing and post-partum. 

In 2015, she returned to her roots, a 400 hundred acre forest near Kinmount, Ontario. There she took time away from private practice to reconnect with wild plants and her personal meditation practice.

Abrah is committed to professional and effective holistic health care using local plants.

What to Expect During a Consultation with Abrah

The initial consultation is approximately 90 minutes. During this time, your health concerns will be fully explored. Your past medical history, family health, lifestyle choices, diet, stress levels and emotional well-being will be discussed. Physical exams that are appropriate to your health concerns and comfort will be done. This includes an iridology assessment, pulse and tongue analysis. Abrah also incorporates a form of energy healing during appointments. In this manner, an overview of your well-being and health concerns is developed. At the end of the consultation, initial recommendations will be made.
